In this waxing course the other areas covered will be the Face/eyebrows and Underarms.

Correct technique and practice are taught along with client care and consultation, contra indications and giving the correct after care advice.

Hair growth cycle and its relationship to waxing are also covered.

• Salon health, safety & hygiene.
• Be able to consult, plan and prepare wax for waxing treatments with clients
• Be able to remove unwanted hair
• Understand how to work safely with wax heater and effectively when providing waxing treatments.
• Anatomy & Physiology – Skin, Hair.
• Understand contra-indications that prevent or restrict waxing treatments
• Understand equipment, materials, products, techniques and treatment planning for waxing. Types of Wax and Wax Heater
• Be able to provide aftercare advice for clients

This course requires to have a full kit. That needs to be purchased.

Entry requirements:

No previous experience is required, however a keen interest in beauty treatments would be beneficial.

Students must be at least 18 years of age to attend.
